Terms of Service — GoMobSec for Discord

These terms apply when a Discord server adds or uses the GoMobSec app for Discord (“the App”), operated by GoMobSec Inc. (“We”, “Us”). By adding or using the App You agree to them. Discord’s own Terms of Service also apply.

What the App is

The App connects a Discord server to a GoMobSec account. It lets members the server allows start mobile application security scans, see summaries of the results, and receive alerts when scans finish. Full reports are available only in GoMobSec.

Accounts, keys and plans

• Using the App needs a GoMobSec account. A server manager links one account per server by having its owner approve the link in GoMobSec, and is responsible for choosing who may use the App in that server.
• Scans started from Discord are scans on that GoMobSec account. They count against its plan and its limits exactly as scans started in the web app do, and are billed under that account’s subscription.
• Anyone who can use the App in a server acts on the linked account. The account owner can disconnect a server at any time on the API keys page in GoMobSec.

Plans and Discord subscriptions

• The App is included with GoMobSec Professional and Enterprise plans. Servers linked to any other account can use it with a GoMobSec for Discord subscription for that server.
• Subscriptions are sold, billed and renewed by Discord, and cancellations and refunds follow Discord’s terms. A subscription unlocks the App’s Discord features for one server; it does not add scans, which always come from the linked account’s plan.
• When a subscription or an including plan ends, scanning, results and alerts in Discord stop until one is active again. Nothing is deleted until the App is removed or unlinked.

Acceptable use

You may only scan applications that You own or are authorised to test. You must not:

• upload files You do not have the right to share with Us;
• use the App or its results to attack, or to help others attack, any system or person;
• try to reach another server’s or another account’s data, or get round the App’s limits;
• overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the App or GoMobSec.

We may suspend the App in a server that breaks these terms.

Results

Scan results are produced by automated tools and AI-assisted analysis. They help You find security issues; they are not a guarantee that an application is secure, and they may contain false positives or miss issues. Review them before acting on them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change, limit or stop the App, or these terms. We will update the date above and announce material changes in the GoMobSec community server; using the App after that means You accept them.

Warranty and liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, We disclaim all implied warranties, and We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending use

A server can stop using the App at any time by removing it, which deletes what the App stored for that server (see the App’s privacy policy). We may stop providing the App to a server that breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
